This quilt was created at a workshop using two colour ways. The requirements were for a variation in colour - from light to dark for both colours used. the blocks are then put together forming pinwheels.
The blocks of each colour are produced and then one of each is put together right side facing. A diagonal line is drawn on the block and sewn 1/4 on each side of the diagonal line. The block is then cut along the drawn line. When opened it you have a two verigated 1/2 square triangles. the fun is then putting them all together.
